Artist Statement

"In a world flooded by a constant stream of intense and overwhelming media imagery, my paintings seek stillness and the active power of hope. I create a dreamlike, layered reality where objects, hybrid figures, warm colours and poetic titles invite deceleration and emotional connection. The viewer is initially drawn in by an aesthetic of tranquility and beauty, before a deeper layer of human vulnerability, memory and care gradually unfolds. My work thus functions as a poetic counterweight: a space for reflection and meaning-making amidst social and inner unrest."
